Project Manager / Estimator – Federal / Self-Perform Concrete

Overview
We’re a growing federal and civil contractor delivering design-build and heavy-concrete projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC, and DOD. Our team combines hands-on self-perform capability with disciplined project management, and we’re looking for a Project Manager / Estimator who can both lead in the field and build from the desk.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead federal and civil construction projects ($3–5 M range) from bid through close-out.
- Perform quantity takeoffs, develop detailed cost estimates, and prepare cost-loaded schedules.
- Manage and track self-perform concrete and site-work crews, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality.
- Oversee project documentation and cost control using RMS and Spectrum/Trimble.
- Collaborate with design teams and federal clients on design-build efforts.
- Drive weekly cost/budget meetings and daily log reviews for real-time visibility.
- Foster strong relationships with subcontractors and field teams.
Qualifications
- 7 years of construction experience with at least 3 years in federal (USACE / NAVFAC) projects.
- Working knowledge of RMS, EM 385-1-1, P6, and Spectrum / Trimble ERP.
- Demonstrated experience managing self-perform concrete or civil crews.
- Strong estimating skills — Excel-based or software-driven.
- CQM for Contractors, OSHA 30 (required); PE or CM degree (preferred).
- Proven ability to run multiple projects and mentor field staff.

Pay: $145,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
