We are seeking an Engineering Manager with deep experience in RF and microwave components and systems. In this role, you will guide a high-performing technical group, drive multiple development initiatives, and strengthen the next generation of metrology, interconnect, and tuner technologies. Your leadership will honor the foundations of world-class engineering while pushing toward tomorrow’s solutions.
What You’ll Lead
- Guide and inspire a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver innovative, cost-efficient products on ambitious timelines.
- Drive product roadmaps with a strategic, market-aware mindset.
- Oversee sustaining engineering for metrology, interconnect, and electro-mechanical tuner product lines.
- Serve as a hands-on technical expert who accelerates design and problem-solving.
- Plan, schedule, budget, and track development projects from concept through launch.
- Evaluate design trade-offs to ensure alignment with technical, financial, and organizational goals.
- Strengthen cross-department communication to keep projects efficient, compliant, and moving forward.
- Mentor, develop, and elevate engineering talent to build a high-performing team.
- Maintain high-quality, traceable documentation throughout the development cycle.
- Manage operational budgets, personnel allocation, and equipment needs.
- Support new product exploration with early technical assessments, cost estimates, and timelines.
- Partner with business development through technical proposals and pre-sales support.
What You Bring
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with an emphasis in RF & microwave engineering.
- 10 years of design experience in RF/microwave test and measurement.
- Leadership experience spanning electrical, mechanical, and software engineering disciplines.
- Hands-on strength in amplifier design, load-pull, and calibration methodologies (preferred).
- Demonstrated success leading engineering teams and delivering results.
- Strong strategic planning, project management, and quality assurance capabilities.
- A customer-focused approach grounded in professionalism and communication.
- A metrics-driven leadership style that values accountability, clarity, and continuous improvement.
- A steady, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to coach and elevate others.
