Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Low Voltage Firefighter Alarm Foreman who wants to move up! Come and join our dynamic security and systems integration team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in electrical systems, system design, and field service operations, contributing to the safety and security of our clients’ facilities. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a broad skill set that includes computer networking, sensors, CCTV, and telecommunication systems.
EG: Wants/must-haves:
- Valid Blue Card (low-voltage / fire-life safety credential) in good standing
- 3–5 years of low-voltage electrical or fire alarm experience
- 1–2 years in a lead or foreman role (running small crews or leading installs)
- Strong experience with:
- Access control, security, and door hardware devices
- DAS and low-voltage infrastructure
- IDF room build-outs and terminations
- Hands-on experience with Honeywell fire alarm and/or security systems
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and risers
- Proficient with basic hand and power tools for low-voltage work
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Strong communication skills and ability to interface with clients and GCs
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
