We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team!
The Outside Sales Representative will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect with current and new customers for new business opportunities
- Network with suppliers for new business leads
- Search for new business leads via LinkedIn and other social media platforms
- Manage new business through RFQ process to order
- Track leads in Salesforce, negotiate pricing, ensure documentation process completed, order release to production and track order with weekly customer meetings
- Manage and plan 3-4 trade shows where Areias Systems will be an exhibitor
- Account manage assigned customers
- Attend production meetings as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills/ Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR
- At least five years of related experience required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to travel
Other Requirements:
- Hybrid position to include travel, remote, and in-person at office
- Valid CA Driver License and clean driving record
