The Mixologist, John Wick Experience services the John Wick Experience Bar, crafting signature cocktails and delivering service that brings the world of John Wick to life for every guest. The Mixologist is responsible for ensuring an excellent visitor experience while staying in compliance with all SNHD requirements. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in crafting beverages in a fast-paced, high-energy, upscale environment. Mixologists should have a deep understanding of flavor profiles, spirits, and ingredients. They should also be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and dexterity. The Mixologist should know the chemistry and theories of mixology; they will experiment and create unique drinks, driving beverage sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Set up the bar for full operation, ensuring all supplies, products, and tools are fully ready for operations.
Master recipes, craft, and serve beverages to visitors while adhering to the sequence of service.
Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the John Wick Experience theme, storyline, and signature cocktail menu to provide an authentic, immersive guest experience.
Deliver service and guest interaction in a manner that aligns with the tone and theme of the John Wick Experience, including in-character or role-play elements as directed.
Contribute to the development of new themed cocktails and seasonal menu offerings in partnership with Attractions Beverage leadership.
Coordinate with Attractions Operations and Attractions Beverage leadership to support guest flow, capacity, and timing within the experience.
Train and support Apprentice Mixologists on recipes, techniques, and service standards.
Handle credit transactions accurately at the point-of-sale system.
Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation in accordance with SNHD standards.
Provide an accurate inventory count of products prior to and at the end of every shift.
Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive guests and promptly bring concerns to a manager’s attention.
Respond to guest concerns/complaints, resolve issues with a positive attitude, and know when to escalate.
Act as a brand advocate by providing guests with accurate information regarding the John Wick Experience, venues, menus, and pricing.
Always communicate effectively with all levels of employees and visitors.
Participate in promotional activities by posing for pictures, wearing uniforms or designated logo apparel, and engaging in marketing efforts.
Participate and dress up in costumes for events, movie showings, and themed parties to enhance the overall experience.
Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction.
Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
