What are the responsibilities and job description for the UPS Shipper/Warehouse Associate - CC position at Area Temps, Inc.?
A large manufacturing company has an opening for a UPS Shipper/Warehouse Associate to pick and package orders, keep inventory organized and stocked, and assist with other warehouse duties. You will work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify parts and assemble, inspect, deburr, crimp, wash, and cap incoming parts
- Accurately pull parts from inventory for customer orders, process paperwork, ship via UPS WorldShip Software, and place finished parts into inventory
- Package customer orders, per guidelines, to ensure customer receives undamaged product
- Correctly and legibly complete paperwork, forms, and logs, assist in conducting inventory counts, and regular cleaning of equipment, workspaces, and warehouse
- Focus on quality, details, and accuracy in the fast paced, same day shipping environment
- Keep work area safe, clean, and orderly
Job Qualifications:
- Must have a High School diploma or GED; Training relating to manufacturing, machining, or quality is needed
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse, customer service, or related field is preferred
- Must have at least 1 year experience using UPS WorldShip software
- Must have knowledge of inventory processes and basic computer skills
- Must have the ability to function as a member of a team and conduct self positively and professionally with all employees
- Must have good organizational, communication skills, while paying a strong attention to detail and quality
- The ability to repeatedly lift a minimum of 30pounds, stand for long periods of time, and learn and retain information is needed
- Must stay focused on safety and safe operating procedures
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a strong work ethics, and attendance
