What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Lathe/Mill Operators - 2 Needed - NW position at Area Temps, Inc.?
A manufacturing/distribution company is seeking CNC Lathe and Mill Machinists to maintain and operate designated machines, produce quality parts, learn every aspect of the machining process, and strive to move up to the next level. There is an opening on both first and second shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Lathe and Mill Machines
- Inspect parts, follow inspection sheets and drawings, and record dimensions
- Property debur parts
- Maintain machine in proper working order
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have basic machine operation experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Must have previously used inspection equipment
- Must be able to complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time
- Must have the ability to follow inspection sheets and drawings
- Must be safety conscious and able to maintain safe and orderly working conditions
Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. The client is willing to train someone who has some machining experience from working in the manufacturing industry and is looking for a career opportunity.
