### **Requirements**
ASAC (Area Substance Abuse Council)is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide support and assistance to the Facilities Director by completing preventative maintenance, responding to emergency maintenance requests, ensuring compliance with all safety requirements, and providing facilities and janitorial support in all of ASACs locations.
As The Maintenance Technician You Will
- Provide direct and regular maintenance where required for all ASAC locations.
- Coordinate and supervise vendors that work on all ASAC properties and equipment.
- Monitor, schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance needs and ensure documentation is up to date.
- Provide direct support to staff and management for maintenance and janitorial needs.
- Maintain building safety at all sites and serve on the Safety Committee.
- Act as the direct contact for all maintenance issues and requests, including working with the Facilities Director on schedules, emergencies, and future needs for facilities and properties.
- Manage fire safety equipment maintenance, AED, and power outage supplies. Ensure first aid supplies are available at all locations along with evacuation requirements, fire extinguishers documentation, safety documentation.
- Review, select and coordinate the pick up or delivery of large donations from a variety of sources in the community.
- Safely operate a vehicle for job-related travel, such as attending off-site meetings, and visiting community partners or service locations.

### **Requirements**
- High school diploma/GED.
- Genuine desire to help others.
- Knowledge of basic building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and vehicles.
- Ability to work on a daily basis utilizing standard office equipment.
- Ability to use computer systems, software, and to work with technology.
- Ability to use independent judgement, analytical/decision-making skills, verbal and written communication skills, human relations skills, team working skills, and organizational skills.
- Stable job history.
- Ability to maintain a valid drivers license and an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) in accordance with the organization's background check policy.
- This position consists of frequent sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
