Overview
AreA Landscape Supply is seeking a dependable and motivated Landscape Supply Operations Associate to support both front-counter office functions and yard operations. This role is essential to the smooth daily operation of our landscape supply business and provides hands-on exposure to inventory management, customer service, logistics, and material handling in a fast-growing landscape and construction market.
This position is ideal for individuals interested in operations, logistics, construction support, or business fundamentals within the landscape and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
Yard & Operations Support
- Load and unload customer and company trucks
- Organize and maintain yard inventory, ensuring materials are stored safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts, loaders, and other yard equipment (training provided)
- Assist with inventory tracking and general yard maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Logistics & Equipment
- Support delivery coordination and pickup scheduling
- Assist with basic equipment upkeep and operational readiness
- CDL driver positions are also available for qualified candidates (limited availability)
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in both office and outdoor yard environments
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting materials
- Strong organizational and basic math skills
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus (not required)
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Prior experience in landscaping, construction, yard operations, or related fields is helpful but not required
