ACES Whitney Academy is seeking a caring and dynamic School Social Worker to join a team of educators dedicated to working with a diverse population of students with special needs. This is a 10 month position.
Must be able to manage caseload, work closely with colleagues, communicate effectively with parents, have knowledge of community resources and care deeply for children.
Qualifications:Applicant with strong clinical experience desired. A demonstrated ability and desire to support High School students in the areas of decision making, independence, responsibility and self-advocacy is necessary. Strong organizational and computer skills are also essential.
CT certification (071) School Social Worker required.
