ACES Chase Academy Middle School and High School Athletics
ACES Chase Academy is seeking energetic, student-centered interscholastic athletics coaches to support the growth of our middle school and high school athletic programs. We are looking for coaches who understand that athletics are an important extension of the school experience and who are committed to helping student-athletes develop skill, confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and leadership.
Coaches will be responsible for planning and leading practices, supporting student-athlete development, supervising students during practices and competitions, communicating effectively with students and families, and promoting a positive team culture aligned with the mission and expectations of ACES Chase Academy. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, dependability, and a genuine interest in working with adolescent learners..

Candidates must have, or be eligible for, a Connecticut State Department of Education Coaching certificate: 600, Interscholastic/Intramural Coach.
Candidates should also demonstrate:
- A strong interest in working with students at the middle school or high school level
- Knowledge of the sport and age-appropriate coaching practices
- Commitment to student safety, inclusion, sportsmanship, and positive team culture
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with school staff, families, and athletic leadership
- Willingness to support the continued growth of ACES Chase Academy’s athletic program
Prior coaching experience is preferred, but candidates with strong knowledge of athletics and a commitment to student development are encouraged to apply.
