Daily substitute teacher needed for ACES at Chase, located in Waterbury, CT. ACES at Chase is a premier inter-district magnet middle school where our mission is to prepare students for success through innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). Our vision is to empower students to engineer, write, grow and change their futures.
Must be dependable, willing to be flexible and collaborate with staff. The successful candidate will have a desire to guide and engage students, follow detailed lesson plans, and promote a safe learning environment. Prior experience working with young adolescents, grades 6-8 preferred.
Qualifications:A background in a STEAM area and teacher certification is desired but not required.
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
