What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President of Care Management/MI Choice Compliance Officer position at Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan?

Vice President of Care Management/MI Choice Compliance Officer: Position oversees all contract functions for local, state and federally funded Care Management and MI Choice Medicaid Waiver Programs including the implementation of all Michigan Department of Health and Human Services performance criteria and internal standards. Other responsibilities include managing staff; monitoring expenditures for all funding sources to ensure contractual and budgetary compliance in conjunction with finance and care management systems staff. Will represent the organization at regular meetings with MDHHS. The VP position is part of the AAAWM Leadership Team. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Social Service or related field, 5 years of management experience, and strong communication skills. Master’s degree in Social Work or Public Administration preferred. 


This is a Full time 40-hour position, with a combination of office, and remote based work, with holidays and weekends off! The agency encourages work-life harmony for its employees with flexible hours, 12 paid holidays, paid vacation, and paid sick leave. The annual starting salary range for this position is $100,000 to $105,000. This position offers an excellent benefits package that includes family health benefits, flexible spending accounts, 10% retirement contribution, employer paid life and disability plans.
