Key Responsibilities
- Operate vehicles according to assigned schedules to provide safe and reliable transportation
- Drive in a safe and responsible manner at all times, complying with all traffic regulations
- Assist wheelchair and mobility-limited passengers in and out of pickup/drop-off points, including assistance with seating and securing seat belts
- Report any witnessed or reported abuse of passengers to the Transportation Manager
- Enforce all laws, including ensuring passengers wear their seat belts at all times
- Project a professional image and attitude at all times
- Communicate with dispatchers or other drivers to report disruptions, delays, or accidents
- Ensure clients deposit money in the fare box
- Maintain records of trips and behavior of passengers
- Regulate heating, lighting, and ventilation systems for passenger comfort
