Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Inpatient Rehab / Acute Care

We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 26-week contract in Hilo, Hawaii. This opportunity offers the chance to work with a collaborative rehabilitation team helping adult patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
This is a great fit for a PT who enjoys working in a hospital-based rehab environment while experiencing the natural beauty and unique lifestyle of Hawaii.

- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, cardiopulmonary, and medically complex conditions.
- Provide gait training, balance training, transfer training, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, OT, SLP, and other rehab professionals.
- Educate patients and caregivers on mobility, safety, discharge planning, and home exercise programs.
- Complete timely documentation and progress reporting.
