Ardor Health Solutions is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility travel contract in Skowhegan, Maine.

This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working with an adult and geriatric rehab population, helping patients regain independence and safely return to their highest possible level of function.

• Skilled Nursing / Rehab setting
• Adult and geriatric population
• Short-term rehabilitation and longer-term skilled needs
• OT evaluations and individualized plans of care
• ADL and self-care retraining
• Upper-extremity strengthening, ROM and coordination
• Functional mobility and transfer training
• Adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies
• Cognitive and safety interventions as appropriate
• Patient and caregiver education
• Discharge planning
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with PT, SLP, nursing and facility staff

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Maine OT license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current BLS certification
• SNF/geriatric experience preferred
• Strong evaluation, documentation and communication skills
