Housekeeper

We at Ardmore Inn & Suites are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in residential or hotel environments. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, ensuring that all areas are cleaned, sanitized, and presented to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and clean for use.
• Clean and maintain floor care in various settings, including carpets, hardwood, and tile.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist with cooking or meal preparation when required, ensuring kitchen cleanliness and organization.
• Follow established protocols for safety and sanitation to maintain a healthy environment.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and guests.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products used in housekeeping management.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results consistently.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
