Atlanta-based defense contractor is seeking a full time Program Manager to provide subject matter expertise in technical and small business program support to assist the OSBP in developing, staffing, managing and accomplishing the functional and support services for the AFIMSC/FMFK at Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota.
PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience successfully managing several direct reports and multiple functional areas
- Demonstrates baseline planning, organizing, directing, and facilitating skills.
- Manage and reviews completed work of others to verify accuracy and quality.
- Follows recommended approaches to assigned work.
- Communicate instructions and policies in a consistent, effective and timely manner. Identifies and addresses concerns appropriately.
- Makes recommendations for possible solutions.
Specific Duties:
Serves as the focal point for all contractor personnel actions.
- Identifies and coordinates with AFIMSC/FMFK leadership on training needs of contractor personnel.
- Makes decisions on conduct and/or complaints presented by peers and AFIMSC/FMFK supervisors.
- Administers disciplinary measures such as warnings, reprimands, terminations, and is responsible for cultivating awork environment free from all forms of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
- Addresses subordinates’ concerns and follows up with appropriate action to correct morale in the workplace.
- Communicates and enforces policies, procedures, mission objectives and organization design to eliminateconcerns or barriers to mission accomplishment, promote team building, implement quality improvements, or inresponse to concerns with regulatory compliance and/or customer requirements.
- Ensures the successful completion of required training and testing by all contractor personnel.
- Ability to collaborate with AFIMSC/FMFK Leadership and manage personnel functional efforts.
- Serves as the liaison between contractor personnel and the AFIMSC/FMFK Security Manager concerning allsecurity clearance actions.
- Ensures all performance thresholds and requirements of the performance work statement are met.
