What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Picker position at ARDEX LABS?
Ardex is seeking candidates in its shipping and receiving warehouse.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The primary responsibilities for new warehouse associates are building and shipping orders for Ardex's local sales representatives and customers. The position requires moderate training on Ardex products and procedures. The associate will utilize forklifts, if qualified and trained, palette jacks, and mobile computers/barcode scanners. The associate will begin each day by cleaning their work area, checking for available orders, and building their orders. Orders are built by finding the items requested, adding the items to the shipping skid/pallet, and wrapping the pallets when finished. The associate will work closely with the warehouse manager and logistics manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
· Pull and ship orders in a timely and accurate manner
· Follow company procedures and guidelines
· Work as a team with fellow employees as well as managers/supervisors
· Other duties as required by management
REQUIREMENTS
· The candidate should display a sharp attention to detail
· Basic math and arithmetic
· Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
· The candidate should be both comfortable working alone and within a team
· A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
· Prior general work or shipping experience is preferred but not required.
· Prior forklift experience is preferred but not required
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
