- Able to evaluate and assign work from drawings and diagrams.
- Layout the work for the employees in crew.
- Complete regular safety walk through and weekly inspections with General Foreman.
- Plan, Effectively Communicate and Monitor crew’s progress, direct the crew and inform General Foreman of job status.
- Knowledge of company’s and clients safety programs and requirements.
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and OSHA Electrical Safe Work Practices
- Knowledge of use, limitations and maintenance of all Personal Protective Equipment required for the assigned work.
- Knowledge of hazards and safe work procedures associated with working from elevated work areas and personnel lift equipment.
- Knowledge of hazards and safe work procedures associated with the assigned work including but not limited to Lockout/Tagout, Confined Spaces, Emergency Action Plans, Safe Work Permits, Incident Reporting, and Hazcom procedures.
