What You May Be Assigned To Do
- Provide armed security services for client sites
- Conduct patrols and maintain a visible professional presence
- Monitor surveillance systems and site activity
- Respond quickly and appropriately to incidents
- Complete clear and accurate incident reports
- Deliver strong customer service while representing ARDENT Protection
What We’re Looking For:
- Current Armed Security License (required)
- Previous Armed Security Experience (2 year preferred), especially in critical-risk environments, is a plus.
- Strong de-escalation skills
- Excellent report writing
- Ability to conduct extensive foot patrols
- CCTV review proficiency
Compensation and Benefits:

- Observe and report suspicious activities and persons
- Follow directions of supervisors and managers
- Respond to alarms and security related incidents
- Write incident reports and maintain daily logs
- Provide needed assistance to customers, co-workers, and client management
- Follow all Community Rules and Regulations
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have your own firearm and necessary personal security equipment
- Valid Florida D and G License
- 2 years of Armed Security Experience or
- Previous Military/ Law Enforcement experience acceptable
- In-depth understanding of legal guidelines for Security Officers licensed in Florida
- Experience writing clear and detailed reports.
- Trained in First Aid/BLS and basic self-defense desirable
- Ability to work within a team
- Strong communication, conflict management, and customer service skills
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand on feet for extended time periods
