Responsibilities

- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies.
- Support children’s individual needs through tailored activities, including special education accommodations and early intervention strategies.
- Foster strong communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress, milestones, and any concerns.
- Conduct regular assessments of each child's development using standardized testing methods when applicable to track progress and inform instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements, participate in ongoing training, and ensure compliance with childcare regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting; classroom management skills are essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and special education practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content that supports literacy education, math skills, physical education, and Montessori or other educational philosophies.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members.
- Familiarity with classroom experience including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization.
- Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; relevant coursework in childhood development or preschool education is advantageous.
- Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining flexibility to adapt to the needs of individual children.
