Position Summary: The Environmental Construction Project Manager (PM) will plan, manage and direct environmental remediation and construction projects. Responsible for technical, financial and client relationship aspects of assigned remediation projects, including estimating, day to day direction of project teams, maximization of production rates and project efficiencies and overseeing quality control to ensure successful implementation and delivery.

Job is posted for Columbus, OH: Open to Remote locations of Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Dayton, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Detroit or Youngstown.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Manage projects from the time of award to the time of closeout ensuring they are completed within time and budgetary constraints.
  • Schedule and conduct project review meetings to discuss project status, including schedule and budget
  • Conduct meetings with external clients and/or consultants to discuss project scope, estimates, work authorizations, and status of invoices
  • Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals
  • Responsible for project closeout as needed (final invoicing, recordkeeping, etc.)
  • Prepare and review change orders and other contract documents
  • Manage internal and external resources, compile reports, track costs
  • Create and manage project schedules and communicate with a team
  • Ensure safe and efficient delivery on assigned projects. Work closely with colleagues to reinforce Ardent’s culture of safety; ensure all employees remain in compliance with safety plans, company policies and procedures, and assist onsite managers with routine safety meetings.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for project stakeholders and effectively manage project communications to ensure universal engagement.
  • Ensure projects are conducted in compliance with safety protocols, quality standards and within the scope of the contract.
  • Contribute to financial management planning, Work in Progress reconciliation, expenditure forecasting and project financial diagnostics.
  • Regular use of Microsoft Office

Position Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of construction management directly related to remediation
  • 5 or more years of client relationship management
  • Demonstrable experience with multiple remediation technologies and construction techniques with examples of production enhancement/maximization
  • Demonstrable experience in successfully directing remediation projects with budgets up to $5MM with examples of margin enhancement
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in construction management or environmental field
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and physical exam
  • Estimating experience a plus
  • Some travel to project sites will be required
  • Experience with Microsoft Project preferred
  • Environmental and safety training/certification is a plus

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
