Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic security systems (ESS), including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
Perform cable routing, terminations, soldering, and connector assembly in accordance with technical standards.
Conduct system testing, inspection, and checkout to ensure operational readiness and compliance with specifications.
Support IT installation projects, including hardware integration and system configuration.
Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior technicians to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and shop practices.
Interpret and work from schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Document maintenance actions, repairs, and installations in accordance with program and customer requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable security, safety, and quality standards.
Collaborate with government stakeholders, contractors, and project teams to support mission requirements.
- Conduct physical tasks including cable pulling, device mounting, climbing ladders, and lifting equipment up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to reliably commute to Oklahoma City, OK.
Qualifications
- 8 years of practical experience to include: Electronics Repair, Maintenance, Installation and Checkout.
- 2 years of experience to include: supervision, and shop practices.
- 3 years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair and installation
- 6 years of experience with IT installation projects.
- Experience may be concurrent.
Education
- Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications or 4-year electronics apprentice program, with formal electronics training to include Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors.
- High School diploma or GED required.
Certification(s)
- Must be certified as a Lenel Certified Professional (LCP)
- A Milestone Certified Design Engineer (MCDE) or Milestone Certified Integration Engineer (MCIE) certification is desired, but not required.
- Industry Certifications/Licenses - Must provide a copy of current certifications and licenses to support experience and qualifications in servicing the systems.
