General Description:

Seeking an experienced innovative and creative Jewelry Designer to join our Team. This is an exciting opportunity to tap into your creativity and design skills through the lens of various customers. Work within a fast paced, always evolving environment. Hand renderings are a plus!

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Fashion/ or Design Arts

· Microsoft Office Applications, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino

· Must have 2 or more years of experience designing jewelry

· Reliable & dependable

· Great interpersonal skills and ability to work in a cross functional team environment

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Exceptional attention to detail

· Ability to think strategically and conceptually

· Thorough knowledge of how costume jewelry is made, manufactured, and engineered

· Strong team player with a high level of professionalism

· Highly Creative, Fast thinker, positive attitude, and a strong sense of urgency

Responsibilities:

· Research global, domestic, and competitive markets to identify new trends and techniques

· Manage total product life cycle handling multiple seasons at the same time

· Can adapt and manage priorities simultaneously to meet various deadlines and urgencies daily

· Understanding of costume jewelry manufacturing for clear and accurate spec sheets in development process

· Identifies and realizes opportunities for cost reduction

· Execution of ideas in design: first loose sketch, through technical illustrations, and finally sample manipulation

· Ability to interpret design trends into Brand appropriate ideas

· Work with internal model maker executing design details for creation

· Can layout samples and work with a sample maker to construct the final product

· Collaborate with product development teams for product execution and cost optimization with overseas factories

· Ensure the highest level of product integrity

· Must be in Johnston, Rhode Island Office
