Job Summary
We are hiring a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser Trainee to join our team. This full-time, hybrid role includes hands-on training and support toward completing the education and experience requirements for licensure. This position offers a $50,000 – $55,000 annual base salary, depending on experience, with the opportunity to transition to a fee-split model after approximately 6 – 9 months of training.

Responsibilities
- Assist with inspections of commercial properties
- Collect sales, rent, zoning, and market data
- Research economic trends and comparable properties
- Support senior appraisers in preparing appraisal reports
- Learn valuation methods including income, cost, and sales comparison
- Participate in DCF and Argus-style financial modeling
- Over time, develop components of appraisal reports independently
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (background in Finance, Economics, Business, Real Estate, Mathematics, or related field preferred)
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Proficiency with Word and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Interest in commercial real estate, financial analysis, or valuation
- Valid driver’s license required for local inspections
- No prior appraisal experience required
