Technical Services Manager
Responsible for management of location or onsite relating to collection, storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste and materials. Supervise and train all employees to ensure all scheduled jobs are completed. Maintain and adhere to pre-established standards for safety and environmental procedures/processes.

Technical Services Manager

Supervise and train all employees to ensure all scheduled jobs are completed. Maintain and adhere to pre-established standards for safety and environmental procedures/processes.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Ensures compliance within division of federal and corporate safety policies; conducts regular safety meetings; provides health and safety plans for job sites; designates personal protective equipment specifications for each job.
- Manages field projects; keeps clients apprised of progress; addresses any technical questions.
- Provides regulatory information to clients and project managers; maintains records required by regulatory agencies; keeps apprised of all pertinent regulations.
- Complies pertinent facts and technical aspects of projects into report form. Uses technical knowledge to create proposals.
- Supervises technical service staff.
- Participate in hiring, performance evaluation, disciplining, promotion and termination decisions.
- Responds to customer inquiries by phone or in writing regarding waste approval, disposal and pricing; responds to new customer inquiries about company and Technical Services.
- Provides Technical Assistance to Sales group. Attends Sales Calls.
- Prepares and approved billings, tracks internal and external costs
- Four-year college degree or equivalent required. Science Major preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the environmental services industry required.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have citizenship or be a naturalized citizen
