Position Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Electrician with strong hands-on experience to join our HVAC installation team. This position involves electrical installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and controls for residential and commercial HVAC systems.
The ideal candidate can work independently, troubleshoot confidently, and complete electrical work efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations on new construction and HVAC projects
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical controls, wiring, and equipment systems
- Install and troubleshoot high- and low-voltage wiring and HVAC controls
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using meters, multimeters, and other testing equipment
- Perform electrical repairs, upgrades, and code corrections
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, local electrical codes, and safety requirements
- Properly and safely use meters, testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Independently manage electrical work, troubleshoot issues, complete installations and repairs, and keep jobs moving efficiently with minimal supervision
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, wiring, and equipment
- Solid understanding of electrical codes and safety requirements
- Ability to confidently read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Commercial, industrial, construction, or HVAC electrical experience preferred
- HVAC controls and low-voltage experience is a plus
