What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Shift Cashier position at Arctic Circle?
We are looking for someone who can work during the school year during the daytime. This is perfect for a mom who wants to make some extra money while the kids are in school. We will work with your schedule. We also work with online school schedules.
Day Shift employees are required to be available to work between 11:00 to 3:00. Actual scheduled hours
will vary. We have shifts available to work just through the lunch rush or shifts that work through the lunch and stay until the night crew comes in.

Projects a professional appearance and a positive attitude at all times in the restaurant
Makes both food safety and sanitation a priority
Is able to learn and hustle in a team environment
Is a self-starter and can multi-task
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Greet our guests enthusiastically with a friendly smile
Accurately record orders on a cash register
Collect payment from guests and make change
Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain them to guests accurately
Meet guests’ needs and take steps to solve food or service issues
Interact with guests to ensure high quality experiences
Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation guidelines
Prepare quality ice cream products, assemble food and beverage orders, and check to make sure they’re
correct
Present quality products at all times and maintain a neat and clean work area
Maintain adequately stocked workstations, restocking as needed
Attend special meetings as scheduled by the Restaurant Manager
