What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Runner position at Arcosa Inc.?
What You'll Do
- Transport reports and scale tickets to corporate office
- Collect various paper work from all locations and transport it to whomever it goes to
- Maintain mileage log from beginning to end of shift and inspect company vehicle on a daily basis
- Responsible for having company vehicle cleaned and maintain all fluid levels, oil changes, tire rotations, etc
- Perform Dispatcher duties as required during absences or peak workload periods
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
- Knowledge of the Great Houston Area
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Some driving/delivery experience, preferred
- Work in high and low temperature settings
- Lift and carry 60 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to drive motor vehicle
- Ability to drive for extended periods of time without breaks
- Able to pass a vision test to drive vehicle safely
