What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter_Entry position at Arcosa Inc.?
What You'll Do
- Assure surfaces meet required blast profiles
- Mix paints/coating per specifications
- Operate conventional and airless spray equipment to apply primers, intermediate and final coating in alkyds, epoxies and water borne paint systems
- Test millage of coatings (wet and dry)
- Oil and clean pumps
- Clean paint lines and guns and perform other cleaning/preventative maintenance to ensure that painting apparatus remain in working order
- Consistently achieves proper dry film thickness and defect-free paint jobs with no holidays, pinholes, sags, runs or orange peel
- Other job duties as assigned
