Mobile Lube Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Mobile Lube Mechanic 2nd Shift (1 p.m. to 9 p.m.) based out of our San Tan Valley, AZ location for a fleet of approximately 100 units. This role is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and lubrication services on heavy equipment and trucks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining strong communication with team members, and supporting efficient operations through scheduled servicing and general mechanical work.

Applicant must have CAT knowledge and verifiable experience and be organized. An active CDL with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements and ability to maintain while working with a current DOT Physical is required for the position.

Day to Day

• Maintain and repair heavy equipment
• Perform general mechanic duties including repairing and maintaining lighting, grease, and lubrication systems found on heavy duty truck and equipment.
• Light Mechanic work on heavy equipment
• Oil Services on heavy equipment
• Perform scheduled maintenance on heavy duty trucks, equipment generators and small construction tooling and equipment
• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
  
  

A typical work schedule consists of daytime hours Monday through Friday, may be required to work overtime. Saturdays may be required based on production needs.

About You

• Must have active CDL with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements and ability to maintain while working with a current DOT Physical.
• Ability to identify and correct deficiencies found during maintenance procedures
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing
• Ability to accept responsibility for actions specifically Safety related
• Able to work well in both supervised and unsupervised settings
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• Positive, Team-based attitude
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
  
  

Working Conditions

• Must be able to meet all MSHA safety requirements and adhere to company safety policies.
• While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
• Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, as well as bend and lift-up to 80 pounds.
