Arcosa Shoring Products, is seeking a 2nd shift Fitter/Welder Lead in our Mason, MI. Arcosa Shoring Products makes trench shoring equipment for the construction industry. Our dedicated teams builds high-quality trench shields and shoring products that are built to last.
As a Fitter/Welder Lead You Will
Lay out, position, align and fit together fabricated parts of metal according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics and sketches in preparation for welding. Tack-welds pieces together. Apply appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints schematics and sketches using manual and/or semi-automatic welding equipment. May inspect completed work for conformance to specifications. Observe all standard safety practices and maintains and completes all required records. Follow all safety rules and practices. May be involved in safety committees or initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.

Lead employees buy guiding and directing.
Assist inn completion of all tasks to meet deadlines.
Maintain and improve quality.
Train lower level employees.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 4pm - 1:30am

Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Ability to proficiently read blueprints
- ability to safely and efficiently perform all essential functions
- Ability to follow directions and maintain a professional work environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work within a teamwork environment
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to have and maintain a positive attitude
