What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Truck Driver position at Arcosa Brand?
Arcosa Aggregates is a Water Truck Driver based out of our Sun City, AZ plant location. This role will be responsible for driving a water truck on site to control dust and various other duties to create a safe work environment.
Day to Day
- Must be qualified to work in a safety sensitive environment.
- Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
- Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
- Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
- Perform Labor and other duties or responsibilities as assigned
- Various work duties as needed such as shoveling rocks.
A typical work schedule consists of daytime hours Monday through Friday, may be required to work overtime. Saturdays may be required based on production needs.
About You
- 6 months Water Truck or Truck driving experience
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
- Use of common sense.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
- Positive, Team-based attitude
- The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
- The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
Working Conditions
- Must be able to meet all MSHA safety requirements and adhere to company safety policies.
- Must be able to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat more than 100 degrees, cold and rain.
- While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
- Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, as well as bend and lift up to 80 pounds. Some shoveling may be required.
