Responsibilities:
• Make visual/measured inspection/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determines if product meets all requirements
• Complete inspection records and reports and follows appropriate codes and regulations
• Make visual and measured inspection of products to ensure conformance with standards and determines if product meets all requirements for manufacturing
• May inspect incoming raw materials for the manufacturing process and follow appropriate procedures for testing raw materials
Requirements:
• 1 year of related barge manufacturing Fit or Weld experience preferred
• Computer skills and basic understanding of MS Office Products
• Proficient in the use of inspection tools and measuring equipment
• Understand and apply inspection methods and techniques
• Previous experience with coating techniques and/or inspection preferred
• Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment is beneficial
• Previous experience in FRP manufacturing industry is a plus
