We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical/Plumbing Project Manager to join our team in Morgantown, WV. This position is critical to our operations, bridging the gap between accurate pre-construction forecasting and successful field execution.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of Mechanical and Plumbing systems and the ability to manage projects from the bid phase through closeout. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and field superintendents, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set project timeline
- Monitor project deliverables
- Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
- Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field experience with 5 years minimum or 5 years or more of prior experience in this field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Mechanical estimating or project management or a degree or certification.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Autobid, Trimble, or similar).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with West Virginia building codes and safety regulations.
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and excellent written/verbal communication.
