What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Lead Nightshift position at Arconic?
Arconic is currently in search of Shipping Shift Lead on nights to join our Kawneer Team based in Springdale, Arkansas .

In this role, you will:
- Have very strong people skills
- Be an active leader in helping develop a culture of safety, coordinate day to day production and work standards and activities, and help ensure compliance to policies, guidelines and rules.
- Work with department Supervisor and leads to ensure a good working relationship between all departments.
- Must be able to operate all pieces of equipment within the department.
- Must be able to verify box counts and loading requirements.
- Help train new employees.
- Works and communicates with customer service to meet customer needs.
- Develop and maintain a good relationship with co-workers, internal and external suppliers, promoting a teamwork environment.
- Perform pre-startup inspections.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of JDE and showcase queries
- Excellent decision making and leadership skills.
- Must be able to work to operate mobile equipment.
- Must be flexible and able to work any shift when required based on production needs.
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends.
- Must be team oriented.
- Must possess a high degree of enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- Must be a self-starter and highly motivated.
- Must be results oriented with a high level of work intensity.
