Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Production Area Manager to join our team at Arconic in Alcoa, TN. As a key member of our Finishing Department, you will be responsible for driving results within your respective area.
The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead a team. A working knowledge of multiple areas is essential, as well as the ability to manage and influence employees who do not structurally report to them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for results within your department and area in Environment and Safety, Productivity, Customer Delivery, People Development, and Quality
- Responsible for leading Kaizen, TPM, and safety events in your respective area
- Develop and implement daily management processes to facilitate focus on departmental objectives, performance, and improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
