Arconic’s Corporate Center is located on Pittsburgh’s North shore of the Allegheny River with spectacular views of the Pittsburgh skyline and is surrounded by scenic walkways and trails. The Corporate Center is easily accessible from all major interstates and is just blocks away from PNC Park, Market Square and Pittsburgh’s most popular restaurants. Responsibilities
Activities involved within this position will include:
- Annual budgeting process e.g., preparing annual operating plan, timeline and instructions; collecting cost drivers and allocation methods; reviewing cost data to prior and current year; ensuring account code structure is correct; conduct data verification; coordinate with team regarding submission in EPM and FAST adjustments.
- Monthly reporting e.g., transparency of costs, tracking actual vs. plan, analyze variances, accruals, correct accounting and follow up to resolve discrepancies; ensure consistency in use of departments and account codes, identify cost savings, support to achieve cost objectives, coordinate variance analysis.
- Forecasting e.g., quarterly forecasts according to corporate deadlines for RU functions, provide bridges, presentations, and analysis as requested.
- Chargeback process e.g., review cost drivers for accuracy, document methodologies and allocation schemes, communicate to businesses, work with Tax to meet tax and legal requirements, work with clearing house on charge out and billing, work with function owners to adjust/modify charge back models and processes as needed.
- Preparing ad-hoc analysis on an as needed basis.
- Participate in projects for deploying new tools or procedures.
- Head count monitoring, recording and reporting according to corporate requirements.
- Assist other team members as per instruction of the supervisor.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from an accredited institution.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S> person as a U.S> citizen, U.S> Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- Oracle E BS experience a plus
- Problem solving and collaboration (consensus driving) skills – individual who won’t take things at face value, will constantly challenge the norm, and at the same time be a good negotiator/consensus driver
- Financial Analysis
- Data Analysis
- Detailed oriented / Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Executive presentation skills
- Comfortable analyzing complex problems, working on ambiguous projects, making decisions and presenting results of analysis
