Gas Station Attendant/Cashier

Join our dynamic team as a Gas Station Attendant and Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face customers rely on for quick, efficient service. In this energetic role, you'll manage daily station operations, assist customers with their purchases, and ensure a clean, safe environment. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision
• Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays to ensure products are well-organized and appealing
• Conduct product demos when applicable, highlighting features and benefits to encourage sales
• Upsell convenience items or promotional products to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, fuel pumps, and surrounding areas to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
• Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and conducting regular stock checks
• Provide information about store promotions, loyalty programs, or product locations using clear communication skills
• Handle phone inquiries professionally following proper phone etiquette and redirect calls as needed
• Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays attractively and ensuring shelves are fully stocked

Experience

• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous
• Bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor are essential for engaging with customers confidently
• Experience in grocery stores or convenience retail environments will help you excel in this role
• Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in future leadership opportunities
• Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
