Position Overview
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth for Arcline Ready Mix by developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and promoting the company's ready-mix concrete products and services. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while supporting operational and safety standards.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and other key customers within the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand market share and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and product information to customers in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities.
- Resolve customer concerns and issues promptly to maintain strong business relationships.
- Complete area audits as required.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a safe and clean condition at all times.
- Abide by and support all company safety policies, rules, procedures, and OSHA regulations.

Required Skills and Abilities
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of construction materials or ready-mix concrete is preferred.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in construction, building materials, or a related industry.
Other Qualifications
- Ability to listen, understand, and communicate information effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage work without direct supervision.
- Ability to follow company safety policies and work safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight travel for up to one week at a time.
