ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for following batch instructions and document actions taken.
- Responsible for communicating departmental activities to fellow workers at shift change.
- Responsible for adherence to the plant safety policy and safety procedures and guidelines.
- Responsible for ensuring environmental compliance within the department.
- Responsible for the on time production of product.
- Responsible for participation in the cost of quality program.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must meet all the qualifications of two, of the four, ‘Core Areas’. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school graduate with experience in the industrial business area. Some background in chemistry preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to communicate well with others and be able to understand and communicate written instructions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Should be able to perform simple mathematical calculations, such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
REASONING ABILITY: Must be able understand and make decisions as to the manufacturing and packaging of products.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Should possess the physical dexterity to perform any task required in the area, including but not restricted to lifting, climbing ladders/stairs, kneeling/squatting.
