The Finance Intern will be based in Alpharetta, GA and report to the VP of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. This role will support core accounting operations, including general ledger reconciliations, month-end close activities, and various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rollforward analyses of balance sheet accounts
- Assist with month-end close processes, including preparation of accruals
- Support accounts payable audits
- Coordinate with vendors to transition from check payments to ACH
- Contact customers to obtain sales tax exemption documentation
- Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a major in Accounting or Finance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong preference for Excel experience
- Demonstrates a high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
