We are seeking a charismatic, motivated, and experienced Hybrid Outside Sales Specialist to represent both product lines throughout the Western United States Territory.
Position Overview
This hybrid role combines inside sales functions with extensive outside sales responsibilities, including travel to customer sites, trade shows, and distributor locations. The Sales Specialist will proactively develop new opportunities, nurture existing customer relationships, and represent both Arclight Dynamics and Piranha Fabrication with professionalism, technical knowledge, and enthusiasm.
We will train the right candidate on our full suite of products and applications.
Key Responsibilities Outside Sales – Western U.S. Territory
- Represent Arclight Dynamics and Piranha Fabrication products to customers across the Western U.S.
- Conduct on-site sales visits, demos, shop evaluations, and equipment presentations.
- Build and manage relationships with distributors, channel partners, and strategic accounts.
- Attend regional trade shows, open houses, and industry events.
- Maintain a structured travel schedule and document all travel activities in CRM.

Inside Sales / Hybrid Responsibilities
- Answer inbound sales calls, respond to email inquiries, and follow up on quote requests promptly.
- Create, present, and distribute quotes to customers and distributors.
- Develop new leads through outbound calls, territory prospecting, and digital outreach.
- Utilize QuickBooks, Global Shop (or other ERP), and HubSpot CRM for quotes, orders, and pipeline management.
- Manage daily lead disposition, maintain accurate sales notes, and continuously monitor pipeline health.
- Learn to operate CNC plasma systems and perform ~1 training demo per week for prospective customers.
- Provide feedback on customer needs and recommend product/service enhancements.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- High integrity, strong listening skills, and excellent communication across all mediums.
- Minimum 2 years of competitive sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment, manufacturing, or technical solutions.
- Strong computer proficiency; experience with HubSpot CRM highly preferred.
- Outgoing, self-directed, and highly organized with the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks independently.
- Comfort with frequent travel across multiple states (travel level varies but typically 25–50%).
- Mechanical aptitude or background in manufacturing/fabrication is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform product demonstrations and learn machinery operation (training provided).
