JOB TITLE: Financial Counselor
AREA: Arcis Healthcare, Lowcountry Orthopaedic Business Office (Satellite locations as needed)
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Confirms level, terms of coverage, and benefit limits with health insurance providers. Prepares and files any documentation needed to complete payment arrangements. Has general knowledge of insurance terms and practices. Works under moderate supervision.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Business Office Manager
SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIP: None
EDUCATION: High school diploma
EXPERIENCE: One to three years of related experience
