Manage and coordinate food and beverage activities, including delivering a high-quality product, maintaining established operational standards, and effectively leading the team.
Primary Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Effectively lead staff to ensure quality service is delivered.
- Continually follow up to ensure tasks are being completed in a timely manner and to the appropriate standards and that tools and equipment are operating properly.
- Ensure staff receive proper safety and job skills training through group training, on-the-job training, communication, meetings, etc.
- Assist in the selection, development, leadership and retention of talented food and beverage staff.
- Assist in ensuring that financial targets are being met, and appropriate accounting procedures are being followed consistently.
- Ensure food and beverage staff are providing excellent guest service.
- Maintain constant communication between departments and keep other departments informed about special programs and events.
- 2-3 years of management/supervisory experience in a food and beverage role is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills
- Experience supervising others and leading a team
- Excellent customer skills
