Commercial Equipment Service Technician

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and longevity.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices.
• Repair or replace faulty components, including motors, sensors, wiring, and control panels, following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
• Document all service activities thoroughly, including repairs performed, parts used, and observations made during inspections.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize service requests and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Assist in calibrating equipment to meet operational specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Support inventory management by tracking parts usage and notifying supervisors when supplies need replenishing.

• Proven ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Experience with electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters; familiarity with multimeters is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform repairs on complex machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an active approach to diagnosing issues quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods during maintenance tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electrical or mechanical fields preferred.
• Prior experience working with industrial equipment or in a maintenance role is advantageous but not mandatory.
