Position Summary
A rural community hospital in Nevada, Missouri is seeking a dedicated Rheumatology Physician to establish and grow rheumatology services for the surrounding community. This opportunity offers the ability to make a meaningful impact by improving local access to specialty care for patients who currently travel significant distances for treatment.
Practice Highlights
Outpatient-focused rheumatology practice
Opportunity to build and develop a new specialty service line
Diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatologic conditions, including:
Rheumatoid arthritis
Osteoarthritis
Lupus and autoimmune disorders
Psoriatic arthritis
Gout and metabolic joint disease
Connective tissue disorders
Strong referral base from established primary care providers
Flexible clinic scheduling
Hospital & Community
71-bed rural community hospital
Established primary care and specialty referral network
Patients currently travel more than 60 miles for rheumatology services

MD or DO degree
Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
