**Hematology/Oncology Opportunity**
**Location: Alpena, Michigan**
**Board Certified or Board Eligible**
• Full-time position with $300,000 start-up bonus
Location/Community:
• Alpena, MI – picturesque city in northeast Michigan on the shores of Lake Huron
• Surrounded by forests, lakes, and outdoor recreational opportunities
Position Highlights:
• Open to both practicing physicians and recent graduates
• Join established cancer service line with one full-time physician; second physician retiring in 2028
• On-site radiation oncology and experienced clinical staff
• Some outreach work at nearby medical center (2–4 days/month)
• Traditional Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility
• Call schedule: 1:3
Requirements:
• U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Completion of a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology
• Eligible for an unrestricted Michigan medical license and Controlled Substance License
Hospital/Medical Center Privileges:
