**Critical Care Opening in Sioux City, Iowa**
Join a collaborative critical care team providing high-acuity inpatient care in a closed ICU setting with strong specialty support and flexible scheduling options.
**About the Opportunity**
Closed ICU with comprehensive specialty support including cardiology, neurosurgery, nephrology, general/trauma surgery, orthopedics, urology, GI, pulmonology, infectious disease, neurology, and more. A 24/7 hospitalist program manages admitted inpatients. Overnight support provided by APPs.
**Responsibilities**
-Average 8–14 patients per day
-On-site from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with call from home 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
-Full-time defined as 182 shifts per year
-Flexible scheduling available (7 on/7 off, 10 on/10 off)
-Work collaboratively to improve patient and community health
-Interpret clinical data and make care decisions and recommendations
-Patient-focused, friendly, and team-oriented approach
-Strong communication and problem-solving skills
**Qualifications**
-MD or DO
-Board Eligible or Board Certified in Critical Care
-Eligible for unrestricted Iowa medical license
-State and federal prescribing authority required
-Eligible to work in the United States
-H1B cap-exempt eligible
-J-1 waiver sponsorship available
